In 1991, Beatriz Ball was inspired to learn the ancient art of sand casting from artisans outside Mexico City.  This intricate procedure involves pouring a premium alloy of molten aluminum into sand molds and finishes with four levels of polishing.

This collection of fine metalware is as beautiful as it is practical.  The handcrafted pieces make an easy transition from freezer, to oven, to table.  And unlike most metalware, the Beatriz Ball Collection will never tarnish, so polishing is not necessary.
